<p>London. Jarvis Dolan is a charismatic host of a radio show named &quot;The Grim Reality&quot;, about news and actuality. Loudmouth, fun and ruthless in his speeches and ments, Jarvis is the most important radio star of the moment, entertaining the audience throughout the early morning with his intelligent programs on hot topics. Previous the job, Dolan is required by his boss Norman Burgess to have a brief talk about the fate of the program by the recent poor ratings, that reporting Dolan to accept to his former partner, Andrew Wilde, as co-host, in an attempt to improvement the show. Going they two to the studio, Wilde meets Dolan&#39;s assistants, Anthony and Claire, who work making the show behind the micros. The film tells the story of single mother “Kara” (Elizabeth Roberts) who moves from New York to the quiet countryside with her two children for a job opportunity she can’t afford to turn down. The family moves into their humble new guesthouse. Kara begins her work as a private nurse to “Walter,” (Bruce Davison) a man stricken with multiple sclerosis and an appraiser of rare antiquities with a secretive past. Her teenage son, Jesse, (Arman Darbo) is unhappy about this most of all. Losing his friends and moving to the middle of nowhere hasn’t made his job of looking after his little sister, “Cambria,” (Chloe Perrin) any easier. Doom precedes them. “Akiba,” (Treva Etienne) a shady international associate of Walter’s, brings with him a mysterious relic of ancient origin. “Kara” encounters run in with a local sheriff played by genre veteran actor Denise Crosby. All too quickly they discover the relic contains more than just legends. Inside, waits a terrifying creature born of ancient darkness and pure instinct…a pre-historic cave Spider unlike the modern world has ever seen.</p>...

California gold rush, late 1800's: A gun slinging bounty hunter (Mortimer) travels deep into the mountains to find a deadly Apache warrior (Brother Wolf) who is wanted by the law. Along the way he passes through a gold mining Town. The miners help direct Mortimer to the Apache and send him on his way. Mortimer enters the forest and begins to track the Apache. Back in town, the miners un-earth an ancient meteor. They use their pick axes to crack it open. A section of the meteor splits apart and spores explode out of it. The spore surround and infect the entire population of the mining camp. They are transformed into ravenous mutants. After a vicious battle against the Apache warrior, Mortimer exits the forest with his prisoner in shackles. They hike back to the mining town to find them selves surrounded by a horde of blood thirsty mutants. Now Mortimer the gun slinger and Brother Wolf the Warrior must join together to survive the mutant hordes. What ensues is a bloodbath of horror for the Dead and the Damned....

Während des Prozesses tauchen Hinweise auf, dass Anja lebt und in Spanien gesehen wurde. Immer noch gibt es keine Leiche, keine Beweise, nur zunehmende Ungewissheit und immer neue, widersprüchliche Indizien. Auch kommt der spekulative Gedanke auf, dass Anja und Lavinia den gemeinsamen Plan verfolgt haben, Thomas ins Gefängnis zu bringen.
