As Cheng Kang’s [14 Amazons] is shown at this year’s Busan International Film Festival as a special screening, a Korean film [A Journey with Korean Masters] will be screened. It’s an omnibus film consisting of 5 shorts directed by 5 veteran Korean filmmakers that were once among the most prominent in the industry: Park Cheol-su, Byun Jangho, Lee Doo-yong, Lee Chang-ho and Jung Ji-young. It is a modest project about Seoul, produced by the A Journey with Korean Masters Production Committee. In this film, the masters collaborate with a wealth of actors of varying generations in promoting the city, integrating its past and present throughout the film. This special screening is an excellent chance to enjoy the hallmarks that define these mature, highly experienced directors. Although some may be familiar, others have not been in the public eye for almost twenty years.</p>...

Back in the mid 1900's Mexico was proud to have more world boxing champions in the small categories, than any other Country. Boxing was perhaps one of the few opportunities where a typical low income Mexican(75% of the population)could have success in life. Kids started boxing in their ghettos, a few of them made it to the Pro's and an even fewer amount got to be famous and earn good money from it. Those that got to the top soon found out that suddenly they had a great amount of people that surrounded them and helped them spend their money. But immersed in their new life styles they could never leave their origins and find a better future for them. This is what "Campeon sin Corona" tries to convey; a boxer that even when he has succeeded can not live up to his new status and prefers to be the same loser he was in his earlier years. There may not be in the Mexican Movies Industry a picture that better displays the way of thinking and acting of the vast majority of Mexicans of the 20th Century....

A mudslide caused by heavy rain and forest clearance almost sweeps away the cabin at the foot of the wooded slope. But this is not the only upheaval in Nikitas’s life. Shortly after the landslide, a man on an off-road motorbike es racing through the forest and stops in front of Nikitas’s cottage.
